At the Inverness Library on Saturday, December 7th at 12 noon, join local poet and filmmaker Josh Berry who is reading original poems from his new book, Perfect Folds In a Ragged and Torn Sea. Josh will also be screening and discussing his short local films, paired with and inspired by the spoken word poetry.
About the author:
Josh Berry's childhood was rooted on a small family farm adjacent to a sprawling wilderness in Olema Valley, a place he still roams whenever he can. He now lives and works within the unceded ancestral territory of the Ramaytush Ohlone near present-day Ocean Beach in San Francisco de California. Josh has been writing poetry since the 1980s. As a small boy, one of the first things he ever wrote was a poem about regret.
