We are very proud to announce the success of Planetwalker, a short documentary created by Dominic and Nadia Gill that beautifully shares John’s life and his dedication to environmental and social justice. The film has won awards at prestigious film festivals nationwide, including Telluride, Washington D.C., and Palm Springs. We are also excited to announce Planetwalker has been shortlisted for an Oscar award! Out of many submissions for the Documentary Short Subject category, the Academy reduced the list to 104 films, then down to 15. We are thrilled that Planetwalker is in this very distinguished group. We will find out if Planetwalker makes it to the official 5 films nominated for an Academy Award on Sunday, January 19th. The awards ceremony is scheduled for Sunday, March 2nd. Planetwalker is available for no-fee viewing through the LA Times website. Register for this free, online event at https://www.ecologicaldiscipleship.org/planetwalker-film-discussion
