Perennial man about town and beloved troubadour of West Marin Jeff Manson has curated an excellent night of indie rock in the Church at the Dance Palace.
BIG DOG: With roots in the California bluegrass scene and a pen as sharp as a pocketknife, Dana Frankel has at last found a home for their original songs in the form of Big Dog. Dana crafts straight-shooting lonesome country rock songs—music for stormy nights at home spent reminiscing on old sweethearts, and the dog days spent out on the road. Their sound is both raw and comforting, singing with their heart wide open and their love on the line.
TRUDY MONK: “Tender tunes for trying times”
Both rock bands showcase West Marin’s blossoming underground music scene at its finest.
