The Dance Palace Curated Concert Series presents Kim Hett, Freight Train Lady, and Good Friends 

Kim will kick of the night with a brief performance and introduction followed by Good Friends and headlined by Freight Train Lady.

Freight Train Lady is the song-conjuring project of Gabi Orion, born in Santa Rosa and raised between Point Reyes and the mountain. Brought to life by a band of lovers, friends, and family, these are some country-fried lonesome jukebox fairy circle spells to heal the heart & soul.

Good Friends is a collaboration between local West Marin musicians Eva Parr and Jerome Porter. The duo started playing music together about a year ago when Eva joined Jerome on a solo California tour and started to sing harmonies on his songs, first in the car on long drives between shows, and eventually on stage. The pair have since played together in the band Common Loons, and in Jerome’s solo project. Jerome and Eva’s songwriting, chemistry, and mutual inspiration shine through in their duo performance.

Kimberly Hett is a singer-songwriter and acappella singer living in Point Reyes Station. Kim used to perform solo under the moniker ‘Milky Mama’ and with the trio ‘Gospel Flatters’. Kim currently performs with the West Marin friends and family cover band ‘Coastal Scrubbers’ and is honored when she gets the chance to sing out unaccompanied in the forests or for friends
