4:00-9:00 PM (more or less) at downtown Point Reyes Station locations
The Path of Lights, a holiday art walk. Gallery Route One will have live music, holiday treats, and a toy donation collection bin. Shop small and support local businesses!
Details:
- About 4pm, luminaria will be lit, up and down the street, from Gallery Route One to the Dance Palace. Many shops will be open late.
- Toy collection bins can be found at Gallery Route One, Toby’s and the Dance Palace.
- Santa (Gene Ptak) will start at Gallery Route One, mosey on down to Toby’s, and end up at the Dance Palace. When you see him, stop and ask for a selfie!
- Mexican foods will be available at various locations around town, raising money for good causes: Tacos at the Building Supply (raising money for toys), tamales at the Wells Fargo Bank (raising money for the Latino Photography Project) and pozole at the Dance Palace (5-8pm raising money for the local PTSA).
- In addition to the great gift shops downtown, there will also be 2 craft shows:
- The 52nd Dance Palace Artisan Craft & Holiday Market at the dance Palace, from 4-9pm
- Fine craft show at Toby’s Gallery
- Live musicians will be found at several locations, roaming. Children’s music performances at the Dance Palace follow the Oak Tree lighting at 5:30pm. The Point Reyes Children’s Choir will sing under the Oak tree in the Dance Palace backyard followed at 6pm with caroling led by the 2nd-5th graders from West Marin School.
- The Cute DJs will be spinning at the West Marin Culture Shop, and there will be a wine tasting.
- The Rotary Club of West Marin will be handing out steaming cups of hot chocolate.
