Dear Friends and Neighbors,
A few weeks back, long time community member reached out for help and a few of us heard the call. Many of you know the McMorrow family and the two massive strokes Scott suffered 5 years ago at age 58. Scott's round the clock care requires some extra support right now to give the family a little relief. Our incredibly generous friend, restauranteur Sheryl Cahill is giving over the Station House on their closed night, WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 16TH, her staff is donating their time, the wonderful El Radio Fantastique is giving their music to the cause, and a number of artists and businesses are contributing to a silent auction. We've had a nice flurry of ticket sales, AND NOW WE NEED TO SEE ANOTHER WAVE IN ORDER TO MAKE THIS A SUCCESS ON EVERY LEVEL. Please join us in this circle of care around the McMorrow family, who will be on hand to receive a big infusion of our love and energy.
If you can't make it, we have a gofundme set up as another way to support at https://gofund.me/19fb825f Also, if you open that link you can learn about Scott's history and contributions to our community, if you don't know him.
Tickets for the party are on Eventbrite at www.eventbrite.com/e/scott-mcmorrow-celebration-fundraiser-tickets-1013215844867?aff=oddtdtcreator
With Much Thanks from Sheryl and myself,
Suzanne
